Our #1 goal at Harvest Hope Food Bank is to feed every hungry person in our 20 county service area of South Carolina, but to do this we need partners in the communities to help us expand our knowledge about where hungry people live, what their challenges are and what more we as a community can do to help. The purpose of the Hunger Action Council is to grow a group of ambassadors consisting of concerned business owners, faith partners, government representatives and citizens in each of our 20 counties. This group will meet annually or semi-annually to discuss the issues facing the hungry in their communities and create solutions of how we can make sure that no one goes to bed hungry here in SC.
