  • ISE America’s High Quality Egg Donation

    May 19, 2016

ISE America out of ‪‎Newberry‬ donated almost 57,000 ‪‎eggs‬ today.  We can't find them on Facebook but we sure would like to show them how much we appreciate it!

Pictured is Doug from Harvest Hope and our friend, Julius, who was volunteering.

That's alot of eggs!!!  In fact, enough eggs to provide 1,000 people breakfast for a month.

Eggs are also one of the hardest items for us to get!  We are really pleased to have received such a high quality donation that will help meet the immediate hunger needs in the community.

    Thank you, ISE America!

  • Stamp Out Hunger

    May 10, 2016

On May 14, 2016, letter carriers in more than 10,000 cities and towns across America collect the goodness and compassion of their postal customers who participate in the NALC Stamp Out Hunger National Food Drive — the largest one-day food drive in the nation.

Led by letter carriers, other postal employees and volunteers, the drive has delivered more than one billion pounds of food the past 24 years.

Carriers in the Midlands, Pee Dee and Upstate areas will collect non-perishable food donations left by mailboxes and in post offices and deliver them to Harvest Hope Food Bank.

To donate, just place a box or can of non-perishable food next to your mailbox before your letter carrier delivers mail on the second Saturday in May. The carrier will do the rest. The food is sorted and delivered to Harvest Hope Food Bank, where it is available for needy families.

With 1 out of every 5 people facing hunger every day in South Carolina, this drive is one way you can help those in your own community.
