    December 08, 2015

Now in its 35th year, Harvest Hope Food Bank is throwing the biggest celebration in Columbia.  This year, it is our pleasure to invite you to an evening of friends, family and giving.  We will have world class auction items, celebrity MC Natalie Morales and Blues Traveler in celebrating this big event!

On Friday, March 11th, join us at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.  Upon entering the doors , you will be greeted with a red carpet video photobooth.  After entering the reception you will be able to browse an array of auction items from vacation getaways, jewelry and sports items to much more.  At 7:30 dinner will be served and the live auction will begin at 8:30pm.  To round the evening, celebrate the night away to the music of Blues Traveler.

We hope you can join us for this celebration of 35 years in support of Harvest Hope Food Bank.

  • Graduate student passes the Bar Exam and donates his car to Harvest Hope

    November 24, 2015

Steve Huegel stopped by the other day with a big donation.  He just passed the Bar Exam and became a lawyer at Adams and Reese.  Mr. Huegel donated his CAR to Harvest Hope Food Bank. He was inspired by his former professor Alan Medlin at the University of South Carolina School of Law who would match their donations every year. He dedicates his donation to the USC Law Pro Bono Program and his former professor Alan Medlin. Thanks Steve for staying with us a few minutes so we capture this inspiring story! South Carolina is very grateful for your donation!

Here's also a story that appeared on WACH Fox in Columbia SC.  Thank you to Tara Petitt for coming out and covering this.  You can find Tara on twitter at https://twitter.com/tjp_tara

Here is a "behind the scenes" photo from the title exchange with our Transportation & Central Purchasing Manager, Chuck Backman.
