Students From Meadow Glen Middle School

Lexington One Meadow Glen Middle School is an Expeditionary Learning School that seeks to solve real world problems. As part of an 8th grade expedition entitled, “Take a Stand”, the students worked together to reach a goal of collecting 2,015 non-perishable food items for Harvest Hope Food Bank as an effort to help those affected by the South Carolina flood of 2015. Volunteer Spotlight: Luther

Luther(pictured right) is committed to Harvest Hope and to our Backpack Program. Luther, a retired principal, gets food ready weekly for one of our 80+ sites . Under Danielle's(Child Feeding Coordinator at Harvest Hope) direction, Luther assists in distributing 32,000 meals a week for hungry kids around our state.
