Allen Benedict Court Needs
February 13, 2019
As announced this week, Harvest Hope Food Bank will be partnering with United Way of the Midlands, Christ Central Ministries and Richland County to assist the residents displaced from Allen Benedict Court. We have begun working with these organizations to help residents with various needs.
One of our first projects will be helping the staff at the Cecil Tillis Center organize and inventory the donations they have received. Harvest Hope will provide staff and volunteers to help sort through items, provide an inventory amount and organize products. Sorting the donations will allow Harvest Hope and other organizations to assess what items are still needed.
To assist with the inventory process we are looking for donations of any type of shelving, old bakers’ racks, or organizational pieces that can hold various products. If you have any organizational items you’re willing to donate, please contact Mary Louise Resch at email@example.com or at 80.254.4432 x 1114.
Due to the frequent moving of some of these residents, the needs can vary daily. If you have something outside of the list below you would like to donate, please call the Columbia Housing Authority (803.254.3886) or Harvest Hope (803.254.4432) for assistance. All the items below can be found on our Amazon Wishlist as well. All items can be dropped off at 2220 Shop Road.
