Harvest Hope Food Bank is in urgent need of donations

September 26, 2023

Harvest Hope Food Bank, the state’s largest food bank covering over 20 counties in South Carolina, is seeking the community’s help in providing food to our neighbors.

“We have seen higher demand in recent weeks at our three branches, as well as hearing from our over 400 agency partners that the need is high,” stated Erinn Rowe, CEO of Harvest Hope. “The need is outpacing our current donations in the warehouses, and we have empty shelves.”

To continue assisting our hungry neighbors, especially as we approach the holidays, we need your help to make it happen.

“Every donation, whether it is monetary, or donations of food, can help our children, our seniors, our veterans, all of our hungry neighbors have a meal,” Rowe said.

Food donations are accepted anytime Monday-Thursday, 8 am to 3 pm and Friday, 8 am to 1 pm. You can also give online at https://www.harvesthope.org/get-involved/donate-today.
