Jim Hudson Automotive Group Donates 9 Millionth Meal to Harvest Hope

July 29, 2021

To close another successful Hudson 2000 Sales Race, the Jim Hudson Automotive Group donated one million meals to Harvest Hope Food Bank to help feed those in need. This marks the 10th year of the annual event and the company’s 9 millionth meal donation to the food bank.

During the two-month long event, all nine Jim Hudson locations were challenged to sell 2,000 vehicles in two months in hopes of reaching a one million meal donation for Harvest Hope. “Each year, the Hudson 2000 Sales Event becomes more successful than the last. I am honored that our determination and teamwork have led us to this incredible donation today,” says Jim Hudson, CEO and Founder of the Jim Hudson Automotive Group. “Raising the funds needed to feed 1 in 5 South Carolinians who struggle with hunger is an achievement every Jim Hudson employee can be proud of. We only look forward to a bigger impact next year.”

“The Jim Hudson Automotive Group is a leader in community impact across the Midlands,” says Erinn Rowe, Harvest Hope CEO. “Harvest Hope is incredibly honored and grateful to have the support from not only the Hudson family, but all of the employees at the Jim Hudson Automotive Group. Together, we are building a hunger-free tomorrow across our state.”
