Food Shouldn't Be an Impossible Choice

We are kicking off a special month around Harvest Hope - Hunger Action Month! Every September, Feeding America food banks across the country come together to raise awareness and inspire action to help people facing the impossible choices of hunger.

For most, a daily meal is a simple choice of what to eat. But for people facing hunger, a daily meal poses a different type of choice. It's often an impossible choice between food and other crucial needs, such as electricity, childcare or medicine. As many of our neighbors have faced a year (or longer) of hardships, food shouldn't be an impossible choice.

You can help though. You can take action. Below are various ways you can take action against hunger in your community and encourage others to get involved.
